Brief description/objective

It was the aim of this year's SSRMP intercomparison to check the absolute dosimetry of photon beams in a solid water phantom. The reference measurements have been performed in cooperation with Anton Steiner, METAS. Altogether 28 institutions participated in the intercomparison. 120 beams have been checked.

All (120) measured Linac doses agree with the stated doses within 4%, which is considered as a satisfactory check. 118 checked beams (98.3%) coincide within 3%, 89.2% of all Dm/Ds values are within the [0.98, 1.02] interval, and 55% within the [0.99, 1.01] interval.
