Brief description/objective

Purpose of the study: Therapeutic hypothermia is a well established method to improve neurological outcome after cardiac arrest. Some studies showing the effectiveness of therapeutic hypothermia were criticised due to patients with fever in the non cooled control group. The effects of spontaneous normothermia compared to mild therapeutic hypothermia in post cardiac arrest patients were studied.
